Before there was madam C. J. Walker there was Annie Malone. Annie Malone created a hair care empire and became the first black female millionaire with franchises across the globe.

Functionality: A Thelonious Monk Story


Commission by a Call to Conscience theatre group and produced under the title Next to Normal. A brief look into the mental illness suffered by the great jazz pianist, Thelonius Monk. Premiered in June 2019 in collaboration with Jazz St. Louis at the Jazz Bistro.

Tuna on Toast


Inspired by and based on events from Tuna On Toast, Sister Clotidis, UFOs, and Other Things I Survived by Sherri Bobzien, this play is about the Rose Festival, catholic nuns, and loss of innocence in 1970s Portland, Oregon.  Part of the Shakespeare Festival St. Louis Confluence Regional Writer's Project's Emerging Playwrights Cohort.  Premieres November 2019.
